Do you think too much?
Don't overthink it. Just open the email đ
Hey you đđž
If youâre like most people in this community, you probably spent a lot of last year thinking. Thinking about your goals, reflecting on your life choices, maybe even contemplating who you are at your core.
We love an existential spiral
But hereâs the thing: you canât think your way into growth. The biggest life shifts donât happen in your headâthey happen out there, in the real world, when you do something new.
So grab a beverage of choice (maybe mix it up), get cozy, and letâs talk about making 2025 the year of action.
You already know Iâve got a lesson, 3 questions, and a dare for you!
[A LESSON]
Thinking is safe. Doing is vulnerable.
Thatâs why itâs easier to stay stuck in our minds, turning things over and over (and over) instead of taking the leap.
But hereâs what psychology teaches us: too much introspection can lead to rumination. This is when reflection stops being productive and starts becoming a cycle of self-doubt, over-analysis, and anxiety.
Action, on the other hand, breaks that cycle.
Experiential learningâa fancy term for learning by doingâis one of the most effective ways to grow. When you put yourself in new situations, you create opportunities to challenge old beliefs, shift your perspective, and develop confidence.
Want to know the secret sauce to growth?
Itâs the blend of inner work (introspection) and outer work (experience). You need both.
Hereâs what happens when you start doing:
You get unstuck. All those things youâve been thinking about? You can start testing them in the real world.
You become braver. Every time you do something new, you build trust in yourselfâand that trust turns into courage (and a stronger sense of self-connection).
You surprise yourself. Youâll discover things about who you are that no amount of introspection could have revealed.
So if you spent 2024 thinking about a lot, make 2025 the year you act on it.
Try something new. Put yourself out there.
Because at the end of the day, building a life you love doesnât come from overthinkingâit comes from living.
[3 QUESTIONS ]
Whatâs one thing youâve been overthinking that you could start testing in real life?
Whatâs one small, safe action you could take outside your comfort zone this week?
When was the last time you surprised yourself by doing something you werenât sure you could?
[A DARE]
I dare youâŚ
To make 2025 the year you stop waiting for the âright momentâ and start creating moments instead!

And if youâre in Toronto - I DARE YOU - to come join us on Sunday 26th Jan for Self-Dating!
a.k.a the perfect Sunday morning
The premise is similar to speed-dating, but instead of meeting other people, youâre spending time with different parts of yourself (but you will also meet a few cool new people).
âYou will move through a series of tables, each focused on a different area of your Self, like values, memories, dreams, or personal beliefs. At each station, youâll have a set amount of time to work through a thought-provoking question or psychological exercise. Once timeâs up, youâll move to the next tableâanother part of yourself waiting to be explored.
âWe are keeping this event private, small and cozy so there are a limited number of tickets, and for the next 2 hours, we are giving you first dibs.
After that, weâre opening it up to everyone else.
So if youâre interested, If youâre thinking about it - take action. Start 2025 the way you mean to continue. Investing in you.

See you there?
As always, hit reply and let me know how the exploring goes.
See you on a Sunday (hopefully the 26th)!
